Mieczysław Bieniek

Highly experienced soldier, Jump Master in both military and civilian parachuting, respected commander and skillful commando – General Bieniek has mastered leadership and management skills serving both in Poland and abroad. He was appointed as a commander of the Polish Contingent in the UN Mission – UNDOF, also he served as Chief Logistics Officer in another UN Mission – MINURSO. In 1999 General Bieniek took over Nordic-Polish Brigade Command in SFOR, also became the Chief of Crisis Management Division in Polish Ministry of Defense. In 2007 he was assigned as a Special Envoy of the SACEUR in Afghanistan, where he served as an advisor to Minister of Defense. In 2010 – 2013 he served as NATO Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Transformation.
