Leading Polish regatta sailor, World and Olympic Champion
Olympic Champion, World Champion, European and Polish Champion – Mateusz Kusznierewicz has won number of prestigious competitions, including Olympic Games and over thirty World Cup Regatta. He is the best Polish sailor of the twentieth century and the winner of the Best ISAF World Sailor title in 1999. Since he started trainings at the age of nine, Mateusz has mastered the skills and taken a lead in the world of regatta sailing. He has represented Poland at five Olympic Games and as the first one in the history of Polish sailing won an Olympic medal.

His biggest successes includes: a gold and bronze Olympic medal, three World Championship titles and four European Champion titles. For 19 years he has been a member of the Polish Yachting Association Olympic team. In 1999 he was awarded “World Sailor of the Year”title. He has also won a “Sailor of All Time” title and “Polish Sailor of the XX century” title. Apart from his splendid sailing career, Mateusz is a highly successful entrepreneur. He is the CEO of sailing academy and training&consulting company, the owner of yachts distributing company, as well as PR agencies. He is a founder of Navigare Foundation supporting sport initiatives and sea education projects. Mateusz is an Ambassador of the City of Gdansk.
